Last week we explained how you can use a simple Terminal command to insert spaces in your macOS Dock and visibly group together app icons. Make sure that the Dock is listed at the top under Network Preferences, and then renew DHCP, reboot. Simply force-quitting docker from the activity monitor works, theres no need to delete anything else.
